Reviews policy

Which reviews are allowed and how we moderate them, to keep trust.

Principles

Reviews must reflect a real, honest experience with the business. We value authentic, specific, respectful opinions that help others decide.

What's allowed

Share your first-hand experience with concrete details and a rating that matches it. You can be critical as long as it's truthful and in good faith.

What's not allowed

Prohibited: fake or fabricated reviews, paid or incentivized reviews, self- or competitor reviews, undisclosed conflicts of interest, spam or advertising, offensive or discriminatory language, and posting third parties' personal data.

Defamation & unlawful content

False statements of fact that harm a person's or business's reputation (defamation) are not allowed. Honest opinion is fine; asserting false facts as if true is not. If you believe a review is defamatory or unlawful, report it with the “Report” button and state the reason (e.g. false information). We review every report and may hide or remove content that, after assessment, is unlawful or defamatory. We keep moderation records and may respond to valid legal requests from competent authorities.

Moderation

We use automated signals and human review. AI only surfaces signals; a person makes the decisions. We may queue, hide, or remove reviews that breach this policy, and we always record the reason.

Right of reply & appeal

The business can reply publicly to a review, and the author can respond back. If we moderate your review, we tell you the reason and you can appeal the decision from your account.

Reports & contact

To report a review, use the “Report” button on the review itself. For legal or privacy matters, contact us through the Cynch Reviews support channels.
